We were just strolling down southend in Croydon where there are lots of resturants to choose from so we stumbled across @annas.thai.resturant who were also involved in #eatouttohelpout ðŸ‘€ðŸŒš

The restaurant had a nice chilled vibe to it with some nice background music and decor to add to the ambience.

THE order

Chicken Pad Thai £9.95

Salt & Pepper Wings £5.95

Chicken Buns £6.95

Coconut Rice £3.45

THE MAIN

The pad thai was really tasty tbh. We asked for it to be abit spicy hense the dark colour to it, the chicken was tender, the noodles were cooked to perfection; the flavours were all there for a traditional pad thai. We couldnt complain with this meal as the veg involved were also cooked well.

THE SIDES

The salt & pepper wings were full of flavour definitely salty and peppery which was great and it had some sort of sauce coating the wings, usually they are fried to create that golden colour but this was more baked which is healthier and didn’t take anything away from the flavour 😉

We were a little disappointed with the chicken bun. Although it was nice, it could have been better if there was more chicken filling within the bun.

The bun had some sweetness to it which worked nicely with the chicken filling to create a flavoursome dish good flavour. You cant forget the soy sauce which always adds that special something.

The coconut rice was nice and had great flavour along with a great scent. Though it was screaming coconut it wasn’t overpowering which was nice for those who aren’t fond of coconut. Overall we couldn’t complain about the rice it was well cooked and really tasty.
